Swing AI is an AI golf coaching app from Peloso Tech LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information Swing AI may collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at cpeloso@pelosotech.com.
Information We Collect
Based on the current Swing AI app and backend implementation, Swing AI may collect and process the following categories of information:
- Account information, including email address, display name, authentication identifiers, and account settings.
- Golf profile information, including onboarding answers such as skill level, goals, playing frequency, dominant hand, favorite club, typical miss, and coaching preferences.
- Swing videos you record or upload, saved swing metadata, thumbnails, swing names, and upload status.
- AI-generated swing analysis, checkpoint feedback, Swing AI Index scores, practice recommendations, swing thoughts, and related coaching output.
- Practice and range-session data, including generated routines, completed sessions, saved practice-library videos, and progress history.
- Golf data you choose to enter, such as clubs, rounds, scores, handicap history, and course-management information.
- Subscription status and entitlement information associated with Swing AI Pro purchases through Apple.
- Support communications you send to us, including email content and contact details.
- Basic technical information needed to run the app, troubleshoot issues, protect accounts, and improve reliability.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide Swing AI features, authenticate accounts, save and sync your data, analyze swing videos, generate personalized coaching, manage subscriptions, provide support, improve reliability, and maintain app security.
Swing Videos and AI Coaching
When you upload or record a swing video, Swing AI may store the video and related metadata so the app can generate analysis, save your swing history, compare progress, and provide coaching recommendations. AI-generated feedback is intended for informational and coaching support only.
Google Gemini AI Processing and Consent
Swing AI uses Google Gemini as a third-party AI processing provider. When you choose to use an AI-powered feature, Swing AI may transmit the information needed for that feature to Google Gemini. Depending on the feature, this may include a golf swing video you record or upload, swing-analysis information, golf questions, practice goals, relevant profile information, and recent swing or practice context.
Google Gemini processes this information to generate swing analysis, coaching, recommendations, practice guidance, Caddie responses, and related AI functionality. Swing AI requires your explicit consent before sending this information to Google Gemini. You can review this policy and the Terms of Use before choosing whether to consent.
For questions about AI processing, privacy, or data-deletion requests, contact Peloso Tech LLC at cpeloso@pelosotech.com. You may also delete your account from within Swing AI. Account deletion removes applicable account data according to the retention and deletion practices described in this policy.
Third-Party Services
Swing AI uses third-party services to operate the app. Current services identified in the app/backend include:
- Apple and StoreKit for App Store subscriptions, purchases, restore purchases, and subscription management.
- Supabase for authentication, database records, account/profile data, storage, Edge Functions, and saved swing video infrastructure.
- Google Gemini for AI processing used to generate swing analysis, coaching, recommendations, practice plans, Range Coach AI output, Coach search assistance, and Caddie responses after the user provides consent.
These services process information according to their own terms and privacy practices. We do not place Supabase service-role keys, payment credentials, or SMTP credentials in the iOS app.
Subscriptions and Payments
Swing AI Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive subscription entitlement information, but we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Data Retention
We retain account, swing, practice, and subscription-related information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain records, support account features, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request account deletion from the app or by contacting support.
Your Choices
You can manage your account information in the app, manage App Store subscriptions through Apple, contact us for support, and request deletion of your account and associated account data.
Children
Swing AI is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
